Three monthly plans
- Starter, from R3,000 a month. One platform: a content plan, regular posts, light community management and a monthly report.
- Growth, from R5,500 a month. Two platforms with ad management, for businesses ready to put budget behind their best content.
- Pro, from R9,500 a month. Three or more platforms with fuller ad management and more active community management.
Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the advertising platform, so you control that budget and always see where it goes.
What a good retainer includes
The price matters less than the scope. Whoever you hire, you should be able to see in writing what you get each month.
- A content plan, not posts made up on the day.
- A stated number of posts per platform, rather than a vague promise of regular posting.
- Community management, so comments and messages actually get replies.
- Monthly reporting, so you can tell whether it is working.
- Clear ad terms, including how campaigns are structured and how often they are reviewed.

Social works best with a website behind it
A social page is rented space. A website is yours, ranks on Google and turns attention into enquiries. We connect the two: your website, Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics set up so you can see which posts send people to the site, and landing pages for campaigns. Read website versus social media: do you need both? if you are weighing it up.
What we will not promise
We do not sell followers and we do not guarantee viral posts. We plan useful content, publish it consistently, answer people properly and report honestly, because that is what builds an audience that buys.
How much does social media management cost in South Africa?
GDS plans start at R3,000 a month for one platform, R5,500 a month for two platforms with ad management and R9,500 a month for three or more. Ad spend is paid separately to the platform.
Does the monthly fee include ad spend?
No. The fee covers strategy, content, community management and managing your campaigns. The advertising budget is paid directly to the platform, such as Meta or Google, so you stay in control of it.
What is included in a social media retainer?
A content plan, a set number of posts per platform, community management, monthly reporting and, on Growth and Pro, ad management. We agree the exact scope in writing before you start.
Do you guarantee followers or leads?
No. We guarantee consistent, useful content and honest reporting. Results depend on your market, your offer and your budget, so we show you the numbers each month instead of promising them.
Do I need a website as well as social media?
Social media reaches people, but a website is where they decide, and it keeps working in search. Most businesses benefit from both, and we can build the website and run the social channels together.
