What a wholesale or supplier website has to do
Business buyers are different from shoppers. They know what they need, they often reorder, and they compare suppliers on range, price and how easy you are to deal with. A good wholesale site helps them find products fast and shortens the path to an order.
- A catalogue that is easy to browse, with sensible categories, clear product names, sizes and photos, and search.
- Trade pricing that fits how you sell. Show list prices, or invite trade buyers to enquire for their agreed pricing.
- A quote list or enquiry basket, so a buyer can add several items and send one request instead of phoning for each.
- Practical answers up front: dispatch times, delivery areas, minimum orders and how to open a trade account.
- Category pages that rank on Google, because many buyers search for the exact product they need, such as boxes, tape or protective equipment.
- Phone, email and WhatsApp trade desk details that are easy to find.
How we have approached it
For a packaging and PPE wholesaler we built a full product catalogue across many categories, with a quote list that lets trade buyers request pricing on a whole order at once, a clear explanation of how orders move from request to delivery, and an FAQ for buyers. For a canvas canopy manufacturer we built a product site around real photography and a WhatsApp-first quote process, because that is how its customers prefer to ask. Both are on our Work page, with names blurred.
What it costs
- Structure, from R9,500, for a smaller catalogue or a manufacturer showing a product range, with quote and enquiry forms and advanced SEO.
- Skyline, from R22,000, for a large catalogue with automations and payment options, or if you want trade customers to order and pay online. See our online stores.
- Product uploads at R15 a product, so we can load the catalogue for you rather than you spending weeks on it.

Do wholesalers need an online store or just a catalogue?
It depends on how your buyers order. If pricing is agreed per customer, a catalogue with a quote list works well. If you want customers to order and pay online, a store with payment gateways, which is our Skyline package, is the right fit.
Can the website show trade pricing only to trade customers?
You can show public list prices or invite buyers to enquire for trade pricing. Where you need logins for trade accounts, membership areas are part of our Skyline package.
How much does a wholesale or supplier website cost?
A catalogue site typically starts at R9,500 with Structure, and a full online store from R22,000 with Skyline. Product uploads are R15 a product if you want us to load the catalogue.
Can you upload hundreds of products for me?
Yes. We load products at R15 each, working from your price list or spreadsheet and your photos, so the catalogue is ready at launch.
